If its through a screen, don't be mean.
Cyber bullying. It's the act of bullying on the web. A few weeks ago, I was a victim of cyber bullying. As I was looking at the words "lying bitch, fake, two faced" I thought to myself, what did I do to deserve this? I wanted sooooo badly to yell at the person who typed this. I wanted them to feel the hurt that I felt. Right after I had my message all typed up, and right when I was going to hit send, something stopped me. I realized I would be just as bad as them if I fired back with hurtful words. That still wasnt fair that they were getting away with it. I wanted to at least say something, but then I thought of Jesus. People have doubted and hated Jesus for a long time, and He still loved them. That's when the good ole commandment came into my mind. "love your neighbor as yourself." crap. I was still very mad. I was still frustrated, but if I said anything mean back, then I would be stooping to their level. Their low level of pathetic hurtful words that caused me to break down a bit. And I knew for sure that I didn't want to be like them. So, the moral of this whole blog is next time your on Facebook, Or any other social network, think about what you are typing. If you wouldn't say it in person then why would you say it on a computer? And also, think of Jesus. If He could forgive the ones that nailed him to the cross then you can definitely forgive the one who has hurt you. Oh, and I almost forgot, I'm sending a shout out to a person who stood up for me and told them to stop with the hurtful words. Seriously, thank you! Thanks for reading. (:
