Sooo, no one is really reading my blog I realized, buuuttt, ha oh well. I just want to talk about the new years. 2011 was a roller coaster ride for me. A bunch of ups and downs, and to be totally honest, it was more down than up. But all the bad things in my life brought me to the Lord. That is what I'm most appreciative of from 2011. Now I know almost everyone makes a new years resolution, and they most likely break that resolution three days into the new year. I tend to be one of the people who has done that. But I made a resolution anyways, and that is to have my relationship with God grow.
Yesterday i was driving home from work and I was trying my hardest not to veer off the road and crash into the ditch. (the roads were icy and there was strong winds) as I was turning left I looked up at the sky (weird, I know) and I noticed the sun peeking out from the cloudy sky. For some reason that image made me think of God. I thought He was the sun. I usually dont have moments like that in my life so I was weirded out to say the least. Then at that moment I started thinking of my life. I maybe knocked down from harsh winds or steered the wrong way from difficulties in my life, but if I keep on going I will find light. This moved me. It made me realize the importance of a relationship with Jesus. You may be struggling, but if you have God in your life then He will lead you to where you need to to be.
"I will give you peace in the midst of a storm. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." (John 14:27)
I"m reading it! Keep'em coming they're really good!
